„During the eight years I spent in India and during my continuous learning since then, I have come to understand and experience that Ayurveda and Yoga are one, as they have common ancient Indian roots. Both reflect a dharmic approach to life, that is, they seek to keep all living beings in harmony with the laws of the universe. They help us learn to live in physical, mental and spiritual health, to recognise abnormal conditions in time and to restore harmony by using the right daily routine, the right diet and various techniques that affect our physical, mental and spiritual levels. Ayurveda uses yoga as a therapeutic tool and is therefore an integral part of the Ayurvedic system. The science of Ayurveda is a practical aid to the correct practice of Yoga, as the nature of the individual and the corresponding individualised practice are of paramount importance in Yoga. This requires an understanding of one's own physical and psychological make-up and the effects of different practices from an Ayurvedic perspective. This is what we can learn through Ayurveda.
My main focus is on the Mind & Body Connect Program (a personalized therapeutic program), therapeutic yoga, Ayurveda, marma points, reflexology, massage, combining modern knowledge about diseases and stress with traditional practices that have been proven to positively influence our health. These methods are applied considering the individual’s actual health, physical, mental, and emotional state. I teach techniques (diet, self-massage, exercise, breathing, relaxation techniques, etc.) that enable my clients to identify and regulate the bodily, mental, and emotional processes within them, thus allowing them to live a calm, full, and quality life."
Methods used:
- Lifestyle management and coaching, dietary advice based on Ayurvedic principles.
- Individual yoga and therapeutic yoga sessions (conscious movement, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, mental practices).
- Group yoga classes.
- Ayurvedic massages (energy point treatments, self-massage techniques).
- Mind & Body Connect Program.
